Duotone maps the shadows to one ink and the highlights to another · two colours doing the work of full colour. It is how posters and record sleeves get that rich, printed mood.
Use it to unify a mixed set of photos, brand an image to two colours, or pull a printed feel out of a flat photo.
How it works
- Open an image in CUTWORK · drag one in, or start from a blank page.
- Add Duotone from the effects panel and set it to taste · everything stays live and non-destructive.
- Stack more effects on top, then export flat for screen or print.
