Link text across frames, and let it reflow

Pour one story through several linked text frames · copy that overflows one frame flows into the next, and cutting the thread reflows everything.

1. Drag a frame

   Take the frame tool and drag a box. Text wraps at the frame width and clips at its height, with the frame outline visible while you write.

2. Pour the overflow

   Copy that does not fit raises a marker on the frame. Drag from it to a second frame to link them · the story pours on.

3. The thread is real

   Select a linked frame and its thread shows. Pull the line away to cut the connection and everything reflows.
