Draw a line with the pen, hand it to a layer, then send a row along it.

3 steps

  1. STEP 1 · DRAW THE LINE IT TRAVELSTake the Pen from the toolbar on the left, or press P. Draw the line you want the layer to follow. Leave it open or join it up · either one is a path the strip can read.
  2. STEP 2 · HAND THE LINE TO THE LAYERClick the layer, then press “It rides its path” in the motion panel. Press play and it walks the line you drew. Drag any knot on the line and the move follows it straight away.
  3. STEP 3 · SEND A WHOLE ROW ALONG ITHold shift and click a few more layers, then press ⤳ One after another. They all get the same move, each one starting a beat behind the last. Move the first and the rest re-lay themselves.
