3 steps

  1. STEP 1 · OPEN THE PREVIEWThe ⎙ Print button no longer throws a bare image at the system dialog · it opens the sheet as the press sees it, your page on its paper inside crop marks, registration targets and the bleed line.
  2. STEP 2 · SET THE SHEETChoose the paper (A4, Letter or Fit to the artwork), the orientation, a safe margin so nothing clips at the paper edge, and whether the art fits inside the page or fills it. Crop and registration marks ride the preview to guide your eye · switch them on and they go onto the printed sheet too.
  3. STEP 3 · TO PRESSPrint builds a size-locked PDF and opens it ready to print · that is the only way your paper choice survives, because a browser cannot set the system dialog’s paper size (Safari ignores it). Save PDF writes the same book to a file. Copies, double-sided and the printer live in the system panel.
